yes it was an awsome event but there was some ppl who i personally asked for ride alongs and said " i wanna get good points" yea we understand dat but isnt it about having fun or winning? other ppl said oh i have my tire pressure down.. am like alrite kool next thing u kno bam they had some fat chick in there! not gonna mention names either. i just think it was really fked up its not an obligation but ppl could have been nicer. over all event was kool.

u can feel the weight difference and even than i rather have a chick in my car than u. the drivers pay to drive and do there best and fine tune dere skills not to take everyone for fun rides and plz u. next time dont be so selfish id delete my post if i ever wanted to get another ride along again they pay good money for that seatime u made yourself sound like a fukin idiot right now
 
More onto what Mike is saying, before my current car, I used to really feel the extra weight of passengers on my old black e30 (stock motor)...

But many times the drivers really just want to practice on their own. It's ridiculously hard to focus when you have someone next to you, especially if they start screaming out (because they're having fun). I take people for rides when I'm not even pushing myself.... a lot of people who have been in the car with me know that when you're taking a ride with me, I will narrate almost every move. :D

And even though it's not a competition, the drivers are there to practice... and improve. If they choose to do fun runs and take passengers along, then it's up to them really... but practicing is most benefitial driving solo.

i had a blast. up on the announcing table with gangsta, talking shit, this event was awesome. thanks to rob (dudocious) and kyle(kleen555) for the ride along. to tim for letting me borrow his helmet. and to everyone that come out.

Thanks to TIM (You ROCK MAN), Bladder for being such a cool guy (worlds biggest head), Spoolup for changing my tires (you guys are the shizzle), My girlfriend for riding along with me for the first time ever(thanks for your support, i luv you), bladder's girlfriend for supporting the scene, Quillermo for rocking out the mic, AeroK FTMFW (thanks to Shant for the MC skillz), Juan, Erick, Kyle, Pablo, Jeremy lowe dude you guys were killing it. Thanks to all of you who came out, drifting keeps on getting better at every event, people keep on improving and the level of driving keeps on rising. Thanks to the expectators for showing their support , Vince for changing my ECU. Countyline for allowing us to trash their place with our tire smoke.... And thanks to all of those who rode with me... peace and love to all of you.......
 
awesome event for my first south fl event. met some cool people, towed some cool peoples cars...haha. s14 ka's are better trust me. saw people improve tremendiously throughout the day, pretty sweet. i was the one hanging out with Piner throughout the day, sorry if i didn't say hi, i was tired as shit. i'm def gonna try to make it out oto some more sfl events, but we'll see since it's a bitch of a drive from Tampa. anyways beemer k rail tap ftw...yeah it was pretty damn awesome. you know what really surprised me though. everyone was really cool, no one thought they were better than anyone else, everyone just went out and had fun and helped each other out, and thats what it's about. thanks for showing me that not all florida drivers are elitist douchebags.

TIM, BLADDA, Shappa, the WHOLE STAFF. YOU guys always making it better and better. The plaques are Fiya! Just want to say THANKS to everyone that help put this event on. You work hard so we all beneift and that is a very unselfish thing to do. SFL drifters as a whole owe you all for giving us venues to improve on.

Erik and Juan, those tandems were insane.

Jeremy, I think you may be the best drifter out there. Well it would be a toss up between you an Juan... Super fun tandem, I just wish we could have had a few more runs together.

Pablo-congrats man you earned that win hands down. I choked like a bitch and you did not, nicely done. Now we need a rematch :bigthumbu

I had a blast even though I felt like ass all day. Note to self-don't drift after a friends wedding :eek:

Also would like to thank Ben from Wales Garage. On the way to work today my axel broke and bent the output flange to my diff. Called him up and within an hour he had my car at his shop. He even has a spare diff for me to put in to get my ass back home. Thanks man!!!

I saw alot of improvement on this event by alot of guys, can't wait to see sfl drifters 2 years from now, we shall own the world ahahahah :laugh:

This event rocked my socks. Had personal drama all day but still being there and hanging with good friends made me have a smile on my face. I agree on the no run groups thing. Tim your the best everyone who helped out thanks again and lets keep on having more events in SFL!
