wtf were u doing? stunt driving on mount akina?
The 2 lane street abruptly turned into 1 lane w/ a median dividing the opposing lanes. BAM! I hit it ...thought forsure I was dead....crawled out and walked away

That's why its important to practice in a controlled environment! With street drifting its deal or die.

I hit a curb at about 45mph (slidin the Grand Marquis) and it ripped the lip off this rim and bent the axle. Them big bodies are tough lol!

40 huh....I was doing 65-70 mph. Never again lol but I'd like to dip my feet in a event or practice just to get some confidence back.

I will be honest with you guys the skidpad is not going to help much, you will learn the same at the track, plus you will learn even more, you will learn which line to take.... as long as you drive withing your limit nothing will happen to you....

I don't know I'm a noob to drifting and i felt like i learned alot more on the track then skidpad

well

Yes i tried running that by the owner, but the thing is he uses that pad for parking his cars and trailers for parking now. I will be posting up the date for sure this week for the next event but it will be in December.

You can honestly not benefit in any way from the skid pad other than the most basic of throttle control (i.e. doing donuts around a cone). If you watch the video clearly, at no point in time was I able to stay on the throttle.... at all.

The skid pad is just too small to make any real benefit of it.

Stick to the main course. It's much more beneficial.
