well I agree with you about hosing down the track skeychy, cause instead of paying 50-60$ for a set of tire I would prefer to give that to a truck... But people dont care and wouldn't like that idea..

New here to drift, can i least change the rims with new tires if I blow one and last time event I saw that you can drift with a friend, but he need to pay 20 or 10 dollars if he is not going to drive?
Wed 20 is gona be drift practice because some people told me yes, but on web site countyline they havent updayted events.

crap... i have a slight crack on my windshield... but dosnt get in my way of vision . can i pm ya a pic and see what you think tim?

nothing wrong with stricter tech, but is it really that big of a deal if i leave an empty water bottle in my trunk?

If you have insurance on your car in Florida it should be free to replace your windshield.

Why must you try the rules? This is why Drift Sessions is enforcing these rules. Can you comply with them without complaining.

Everyone starts to talk shit about the tech being to relaxed and now when they decide to make it more strict you guys want to complain its to strict. Spend the extra money so you can pass tech or don't slide. Its as simple as that.

A empty water bottle I don't think would make a good projectile in an accident, but thats the reason for running a clean car....if you wreck....everything becomes a potential projectile. It takes like 20 mins to prep a car to take everything out of it. Go to any reputable auto cross race and they will tell you the same thing. Racing is dangerous enough...you don't need to add to it.

Now if that bottle was in your cockpit, and happened to roll under the clutch or brake pedal...you look down to see what it is...and bam there goes a spectator.

The tech inspection is there for a reason, the rules...some of them as dumb as they sound have a purpose.

enforcing the rules is a good thing, plus its not like
they are gonna tag you for every little thing they find.
It's just basic tech shit.
And yes a wet skidpad does suck!!! understeer city + no cool smoke

um

Well we are not here to stop people from drifting, just some really basic stuff that any stock car should already have. I will really be enforcing the batts and lugs, its really not that bad. It also does suck when someone breaks down for somethin dumb then causes everyone else to loose track time. Just look over yout car and check the list before the events.

only full coverage im told by my insurace company.... i need to send a pic to tim when i get a chance or post it to get ppls opinion

wow i never actually thought a water bottle could cost sombodys life haha

but on the real tho, at the last countyline event after a gatorade bottle, i didnt know where the trash cans were, and i didnt want to litter so i would just keep the bottles in my trunk, so thats why i threw that one out.

also just throwing it out, next event they should keep another trashcan closer to the pits thats not all the way out by the food stand

Everyone also please bring lots of off!
