question: can we use old pictures that we've taken before or do we have to actually go out and shoot for every photo contest. and what prize do we get? if we get anything at that.

and i was thinking about your first question
for the first couple of contests we will be able to use past pictures

then later on as the skill of the contests get harder we will have it set up where you have to take it after it is assigned

If my choice wins the vote, and it looks like it will, I wouldn't want people to use past photos. If you have the talent and skill, you should be able to come up with a great photo over the weekend. If past photos are used, then Zach Hughes for example will be eligible to use his award winning panoramic shot of downtown Miami. I want to see what you're capable of NOW, not back then. Which is why I don't want past photos to be used.
