Contest #1 "Long Exposure"

So here it is.
This is going to be a thread dedicated to the Photo Contests

Whats going to happen here is every 2 weeks we can vote on a subject to shoot for the 2 week deadline.

At the end of the 2 weeks people will vote on their 3 favorite pictures

Point System
1st- 3 points
2nd- 2 points
3rd- 1 point

As for now, lets start thinking of things/ideas to shoot.


Rules
1. 1 entry per contestant
2. Must vote for 3 photos based on the point system
3. If entered can't vote for your own picture
4. Can only enter your own work
5.

If my choice wins the vote, and it looks like it will, I wouldn't want people to use past photos. If you have the talent and skill, you should be able to come up with a great photo over the weekend. If past photos are used, then Zach Hughes for example will be eligible to use his award winning panoramic shot of downtown Miami. I want to see what you're capable of NOW, not back then. Which is why I don't want past photos to be used.

poll sounds good. or if you have a panel of the best photographers on here of lets say 10? you guys can go thru all the summissions and post the top whatever number.

i think he wants it to be like american idol voting style. judges first then america.

i want the people to vote for the winners not me or other judges

the thing is if your a judge you should not be able to compete no matter what you say your always gonna be biased towards your own shit. I think if you were to do this it would have to be a poll cause no matter what voteing will be bias but the more votes you have the less it will come into play

there is no one person judgeing

everyone votes

even the people who enter

they cant vote for their own tho

and besides bladder and Z4k I don't think they photograph. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

or.....

We post pics and let everyone be the judge by just posting points in favor for what they like the most? So after lets a week, the mod's will tally up points and announce rankings....

z4k sold his gear and I stopped shooting to work at events. Although I might shoot again at the upcoming Ter-Tech qualifier.
