first before you tell me its the throwout bearing its not that. this is the third one ive put in and i still have the same problem. its a 91 ka and when i clutch in it growls not always but sometimes mostly when i first start it. it really doesnt effect anything that ive noticed but the noise is a bit of buzz kill. any help or the next stop is a new tranny

when was the last time you changed the tranny fluid?

it could make a world of differance. could also be the input shaft pilot bearing but i highly doubt that

i had the same problem - only made a growling noise when the clutch was in - think it was the pilot bearing. can't remember though, it was a long ass time ago.

maybe the input shaft bearing, does the shaft have play?
nope
Is it a chatter type of noise?
idk its like a growl
