Cloverfield is the codename of the movie but not THE NAME of the movie. I think this could be the next Godzilla(or Rosie O' Donnell) movie. What do you guys think cuz it's still top secret.

Godzilla and Cthulhu theories have been discarded. Clues around the internet lead it to be some type of whale monster but it's fan art.

Waiting for the new trailer to come out in HD so I can have a better look of it. Apparently you can see the monsters.

you can at glimpse. The part where the military is firing at it you can see the body sneaking behind a building. The body looks like a lion where part of the head has what appears to have tentacles as a mane. In some photo it confirms spores of the monster codenamed Parasite. My theory is that everyone dies and a rescue team finds the camera
 
its bieng kept so under wraps that the casting was done using scripts from the directors other projects (alias,lost) so ppl wouldnt know the script
 
I have read that it is based on the "Cthulhu Mythos" by H.P. Lovecraft,

a series of stories based on interdimensional beings so unimaginable

simply seeing one is basis to go insane.

many may think its a godzilla movie since The Great Cthulhu is a

giant "monster" from underwater, i also read it was suppose to be like

if a giant monster attacked a city and you were there filming your

vacation, like "blaire witch" documentary handheld camera style.
