Chrome lip removal?

I have a set of Sport Max 502 and looks like you can remove that chrome lip. Looks like there just a plate? is that possible to remove? and if so, whats it look like underneath?

I doubt they are removable, but why take them off if they are? just paint them.

I know....its for a friend. He wants to know if he can remove them cuz he has a pretty big ding on one of them....and wants to know what would be under the lip. Will it be ugly ?

I told him to just Paint it.

If this is your rim \/ Those screws are fake don't try to take them out it is not a 3 piece rim

Yea, Sportmax may have just put in a plate over the lip instead of actually machining it. It'll prob look like ass under the lip, cast looking maybe idk.
