Chris Jackson @ FD Pro am road atlanta go pro

inbetween runs I had to stop watching and open and shut my laptop screen several times in a row... shit was burning up on fire.

why? whats wrong with the one you got?
we just put some z32 calipers on the back of mine with some stock brembo rotors from advance that bitch worked great i didnt even put new pads just used the one from junk yard:eek: you should try it
once you figure out the first turn end you able to keep the rpms up the rest will come:bigthumbu

i have a cnc hydro but i was looking at another pro drivers car with a stock setup and watched his runs it looks a lot better

i felt like my hydro wasn't locking well either, and it cost me huge on entry and downhill moments. i run the ksport but i dont fault that. I have stock nissan s13 calipers with duralast pads trying to lock up 265/18s (on 18x9.5 wheels) LMAO.

im upgrading the pads first, and if not good still, then calipers ASAP and then ill have a better understanding.

How you gonna run hydro ebrake with little 4 lug car brakes?

haha yep.

i have the cnc hydro ebrake, with z32 rear brakes, brembo rotors, and hawk pads. my shit work great. locks up going 2mph.

its pretty much the same setup as zoli

I hyave stock cable e-brake with stock s14 calipers and Hawk pads. $84 for the pads and tighten the cable a bit before an event an It locks amazing, no slipage.

Don't forget that its not only about equipment. If you know how to use an e-brake all you need is some good pads.:bigthumbu

Well considering he had a bad wheel bearing the whole time and a hood pin holding his toe rod onto the knuckle he did really good and qualified 15th

You might want to see if that hood pin is still there. We cleared one off the track at one point. Oh... and I'll be looking for these issues at future events :) Keep telling me where to look, saves me time :)

The pot laughing at the kettle. Must be something about bumble bee paint jobs.

i dont think so man, nothing i had was janky like that.

driving with a control arm barely held on is a totally different story than my unknown issue... we didnt even sleep the night before making sure it was 100% tech-able to our knowledge.

Calm down Skippy, just poking a little fun. There were a number of areas where folks could and did make improvements. The FD Pro-Am series is still very much in a development phase and is intended to build drivers up, not tear them down. We made sure that we had as much as possible on tap to assist folks ranging from a welder, safety equipment, tools, tire changers, even the FD Pro series helped us with some things. Just poking, not throwing punches. Everyone worked together well out there and I can't wait for the next event.

i know you werent being harsh, but it implied i had something severly messed up haha.

but yea, the tech inspection here in FL is crap or when someone tries to enforce it, we have low numbers attend. its sad that people show up with a $2 stud broken and its a what... 20 min job?
