STAMFORD, Conn., June 25, 2007 – World Wrestling Entertainment was informed today by authorities in Fayette County, Ga., that WWE Superstar Chris Benoit, his wife, Nancy, and his son were found dead in their home. Authorities are investigating, but no other details are available at this time.

Instead of its announced programming for Monday on USA Network, WWE aired a three-hour tribute to Chris Benoit.

Chris was beloved among his fellow Superstars, and was a favorite among WWE fans for his unbelievable athleticism and wrestling ability. He always took great pride in his performance, and always showed respect for the business he loved, for his peers and towards his fans. This is a terrible tragedy and an unbearable loss.

WWE extends its sincere condolences and prayers to the Benoit family and loved ones in this time of tragedy.

i just found out a 3mins ago from a friend.....man thats crazy at first i didnt believe it .....damn cuz they faked vince mchnaon death 2 weeks ago...... :confused: damn theres alots of crazy poeple out there ....his whole family

yeah, they had a 3 hr dedication to chris benoit the last night on Monday Night Raw... recapping moments in his career from when he was wrestling in japan to matches in the WWE. I wonder what happened... HTF did his whole family (him included) die?

You are a Fucktard just like USA Channel for saying RIP and them for putting a Tribute on TV. He killed his fucking Family and let them sit for the weekend before killing himself. The world needs less of those people and if they kill themselves great. Atleast he did soemthing good.

I heard it on the radio this morning. He killed his wife and kid. Then a few days later himself.

He killed them Friday, then 2 days later killed himself. I can't believe things like this happen, why would you think killing your family would be the answer? There are other ways man. Fuck...

Very true, I've seen these crazy people when I played football in highschool. Its always the ones you least suspect though. He was usually a quite dude, who just kicked ass. I feel bad for the people(friends/family) around them.
 
if he killed them 2 days before he killed himself... that means his wife and kid had been laying there dead for 2 days... thats crazy!!
