So i'm working on a cheap rally style ebrake for s13's, s14's.
Yes hydrualic is so much better, but definitely not a cheap option.

This setup will cost around $65 undercutting a hyrdrualic Rally Style ebrake by alot.
It will also utililize stock holes in the tranny tunnel as well as the stock ebrack cable.

It will be positioned in front of the shifter slightly to the driver side and height may be adjustable or I may make diff sizes depending on how this first prototype goes.

The image below is rough. Im relearning autocad. Its been 12 years since ive used like release 13 and now its autocad2000 so im catching myself back up. excuse the glass lever base hehe.

updates and purchase info coming soon!!

the whole purpose of a rally ebrake is to use hyrdraulics for instant and consistent lockup, not cables, which stretch and break.

Or the other purpose which is to relocate the ebrake to a more convenient closer location for quick grabs.

Most of us are 2 poor to afford the hydraulic setups while actually still paying for parts and driving in events. So this well be a cheap alternative for those who feel the leverage you gain with The rally setup will be better then the already existing pull up ebrake setup they are using for a cheap price.

well last time I checked staging brakes were only 75 bucks, and its not that much more expensive to hook up probly less than $100 to get everything going with fluid, lines, fittings, and all that jazz

this would be what you are talking about Piner which is a beautiful concept but requires fabrication.

Problem is not everyone is mechanically inclined to do this themselves as we all know from the amount questions asked over and over again on these forums. Manufacturing a mounting bracket etc.. etc..

This kit will be a bolt in application meaning no fabrication needed by user to install. It wall also be easily removeable so if you want to use it for just track days you can swap it between stock and this setup.

$65 is a high ball park number.

I'm hopeing that when done we'll be able to sell them for around $50 but no gurantees until the first prototype is finished and tested.
