You are right the GSX-R has only 103hp but it only weigh 700pounds, as opposed 2 your IS which must weigh around 3200-3300 pounds, and only brings 215hp 2 the crank. We all beleave ur tail of beating a bike in a rolling fourth gear start but that dosn't mean anything, if he takes u out the hole he will dust u. Which means it dosn't count if u beat a bike on 95 from a rolling start that the kind of race is what a ricer gets in 2. The power 2 weight ratio of the GSX-R is about the same as your IS having 300-350hp. Lets be honest u got into a rice not a race. Hahaha. Have you ever heard of Wangan? So all those drivers in Japan that do Wangan and build their cars specifically for top end racing are ricers too right? And there is not only one type of race (as you seem to think would be from a dig), there is of course top end racing which would be wangan, as well as autocross, etc. Yes, of course the bike would destroy me off the line, but top end, its pretty pathetic. And I didnt say I beat the bike, hun, I said he started pulling 3 cars at 130 which = kept up to it. Dude, I had my boyfriend in the car with me and my buddy in his evo behind me (not racing), I dont have to lie. If it wasnt true, word would spread, dont you think? He did have a speed limiter, AT 145, and I have one at 140, the race ended at 130. Which means, we both didnt reach the governer yet. Its funny how another IS owner agrees with me. Doesnt that say something? That Im right. And yes, ok power to weight ratio is off comparing the two, but the number of cylinders does matter top end. I dont have to sit here and dispute the truth, but obviously you do because either (a) Im a girl, (b) you dont know much about top end and 2jz's, (3) you dont know much about bikes. Now why would the Supra be called the highway monster and be praised for it if top end racing is ricey? Ah but Supras destroying bikes on the highway doesnt count, right? I would hope that you do know that IS300s come with the 2jzge, which is the n/a version of the MKIV supra engine. But Im still ricey for racing top end when my car is a top end freak and has the most power, right?
Now, ricers dont generally race top end, they race off the line (everytime Ive seen them). Especially since most ricey cars are hondas and slow fwd cars, so tell me, why would you coin me doing a top end race as ricey? When ricers dont have any power top end? I never see ricers racing top end. Secondly, wouldnt you being so close-minded and lacking in knowledge of the situation make you ricey as well? Since the unwritten definition of one would be someone who doesnt know **** and thinks they do, etc.

Altezza girl don't get mad I just wanted 2 make a point, u can't say that the GSX-R is pathetic my best friend has one and I can,t keep up with him in any gear, and my 240 weigh's maybe 700pounds less then ur car has about the same power and I have the settings 2 grip. Another thing please don't play that i'm a girl card with me cause it's old I don't beleave in i'm a girl so I can't race that's bull **** my wife drifts my 240 and she is a girl. As far as wangan yes I do know what that is I also know what gymkana, time attack, GT, touge, and circut racing is, just about anyone in this forum knows what they are, but ur car is not a wangan special it's a mildly tunned street car, what I meant 2 say is that top speed dosn't count from a rolling 90mile an hour start unless ur going all the way. As far as not seeing ricers doing top speed wut do u think switching lanes in traffic becomes when u get away from traffic and get 2 a empty straight away? It's still ricing if the car isn't built for top speed how could u really expect it 2 be cosidered a wangan special? I know that ur IS has a 2jz, thats how I know the factory hp output. my car has a KA24 but if u don't have a turbo your not saying anything, oh yeah weight does have something 2 do with top speed. I'm not trying rag on u or anything i'm just saying. Actually, she is right with the whole situation. I suggest you do your research before you refute someone. This has been the second or third time that you refute someone with the wrong information. You cannot compare the 2jzge to the ka24de simply over their horsepower, or for that matter, any car. It is not the same thing. There are many factors in comparing cars. The power output of 2jzge's is much greater than the KA24de. The is300 is infact great at top end runs. Power to weight ratio would equal to the fact that she would keep up to the bike. Also, she did not mention that her car is a "wangan special", she stated that her car is best top end. Also, she was not weaving through traffic if you actually read what she said before :

Ricers do it all the time and another thing I never said my engine is the same as her engine. What I meant was that the 2jz ain't jack if it doesn't have a turbo which is a fact, the turbocharged 2jz on the jza80 supra produces 320 crank horsepower as opposed 2 215hp on the n/a IS, thats alot of power. Samething with the KA and SR n/a vs turbo it's a big advantige. Your just making yourself look like an idiot and your frustrating quite a few of us by being so closed minded and deeming everything as being ricey. And this isnt a topic about opinion, its about facts vs. your opinion. Your not making any sense and then your contradicting yourself.
I completely give up on you because there is no hope. But I will say one final thing, the way you can pretty much figure out whether a car is made for top end is through the transmission and the final drive gear ratio. And my car is great top end because of the final drive gear ratio being 3.7 which is .04 smaller than the FD (3rd gen rx7). In which the FD is the second most popular car for wangan. So, in other words, yes my car IS made for top end.

This is why i dont race unless its on a track (or an agreed upon secret location by me and the challenger ). You just dont really know if the person you where cruisin against was really into it. For example, when i had my old TII there was countless times civics, jettas, golfs, whatever where next to me at a red light reving there engines wanting to race. I would race them sometimes, and when i got to 60 mph and saw that i had a few car lengths on them i would ease off. What do you think they did? Almost everytime they would scream past me and turn their flashers on like they just smoked me or something. I dont even give those jerkoffs a second look anymore. I would rather not race and look like a pussy then race them, beat them, ease off the gas, then have them fly by thinking they won. It sickens me to think they went back to there stupid ricer friends or post on there stupid boards and brag that they beat some old junked rx7. It reminds me of one of my more (special) friends, he had an integra and he swore it ran 13s cuase "I beat a new mustage in a race" I asked him where did he race and he said "at a red light on university" I said how did you know he was actually racing you he said "i heard his engine revving hard" he had no clue if the guy was just messin with him.
So unless i am at the track or someone outright says "man you beat me" i dont brag about nothing
Same goes for quarter times and HP. If i dont have the slips to back it up i aint saying jack.
Not saying i dont believe your story becuase after all you did state the bike won. Just tellin ya my personal opinion on that "heads up" type street racing. Saw way too many fights over nonsense that neither party could prove.

I don't usually race on the street but last week I was in Autozone and the guys know me there because I come in so much for misc crap (it's the closest Parts store to my house) Anyway they were talking to this guy who I guess they know and were like Mr 240 here says he will kick your *** (I was looking at some tools) I looked and and was like what? I did not say anything.. Barely interested I ask the guy what kind of car he had?, "95 integra" I was like sorry dude not worth my time... Anyway the guy and I happend to leave at the same time and he peels out of the parking lot (what an Idiot) There was a redlight and I pulled up next to him (it was about 8:45PM on a sunday and the streets were empty)
Well he's reving his engine and looking over at me (but he could not see me since I have limo tint) I was like ah what the hell! I reved back and when the light went green I droped the clutch at 2000... I know really pushing that sucker hard! (I do 3k clutch dumps when i'm actually racing on a track) and rev upto 5000 in first, then shift into second (I hear his front tires SQUEAL when he shifts into second he was pushing that little car to the limit!) Anyway I have him by a full car length by the time we hit 45mph (speed limit) and I start slowing down for the next light he pulls next to me hangs out his door, gives me a thumbs up and yells "You got me man!" lol funny thing is I was not even trying nor did I use all of my Awsome **140hp!!**
