catback exhaust/ supra fuel pump?

What is better to have the walbro 255 or the supra fuel pump?

big difference in price but is it really needed?

From the down pipe on should I leave it stock and upgrade later?

And what are the better catback systems to get?

thanks for your help

this.
walbro+turbo back. elbow,downpipe,catback.

this is where I get a little lost

But if i upgrade the engine and get more horsepower I don't want to have to upgrade everything again

Thats Why I want a bigger intercooler and stronger clutch(act 6 puck) and flywheel to start with

Just trying to think ahead

Walbro is the easiest and cheapest, If you wanted a OEM replacement pump it should be a 300zx it flows more than a supra pump.

98 completely stock 240sx

I am trying to figure what I want on it so I can finish it. Going to upgrade the diff later when I do the rucas. And the baseline intercooler cant handle much more than stock hp.

So i got to thinking I do an engine upgrade later (maybe) what else has to be upgraded
why pay for it twice I am thinking. So fuel pump (clutch and flywheel this was easy to decide to upgrade) Turbo elbow, downpipe and cat-back exhuast I don't know.

It seems the walbro can handle it. But wondering if I should stay with the stock and upgrade later. Or get one that can handle 300+hp now. This is were I have no clue on what can handle what or if it even matters.

What motor is this, and have you decided on what turbo?

When you say "engine upgrade" do you mean change to a different motor, build the one you have, or upgrade parts?

Baseline intercooler? stock?

Just trying to get a better understanding so I can give my opinion on upgrades.

Not a problem at all
Right now what I have in mind so far is

stock 98 Sr20DET motorset with 5speed tanny (act 6puck clutch and light weight flywheel)

GREEDY intercooler (I believe thats suppose to be able to handle 500hp)

Koyo radiator and shroud (No electric fans)

When I said upgrades I meant to the same SR20DET ayear down the road or so

but maybe before it even goes in I don't know haven't got that far yet.

I am reverse engineering if you can understand that I just don't want to pay for things twice.

I mean I would rather have a stock engine and have everything else to handle more hp then go upgrade the engine and find out I gotta rip everything out and upgrade everything

Essentially, the only things you would have to change are piping(depending on turbo location), turbo(manifold and lines depending on turbo),injectors and get a tune. You can never really plan that far ahead because if you use one big boy part more than likely u will need to upgrade everything else for the car to run right........ If you dont plan on upgrading now jus throw the engine in as is and change the things i told u later.......

that sounds like a plan

the intercooler clutch and flywheel I am still going to upgrade

I was going to upgrade the engine before install if it was in the budget to do so.
So depending on how much things cost I want to do 300+hp now

There is no need to build the motor for 300hp, If you want to run it around 400hp then I would look into upgrading the motor. Get a bigger turbo, some 550's and a retune and have fun.

SR's will hold 300hp all day stock.......shit if u do it right and good tune and compression they can hold more ......... clutch/flywheel, and intercooler are the only things that should be changed...most places dont include a sidemount with the swap anyway so the intercooler is not really looked at as an upgrade

Thats what I was thinking but really wasnt sure about it though.

So I will go with the

walbro255
Intercooler
new clutch
and light weight flywheel

Been researching all day on this stuff

Thanks people
