for sum reason my car decided not to start today,
i have int had a chance to fully check everything out but what r sum idea u guys have of what it could be
the battery is good, it does int make any sound when i turn the key, something tells me its not the starter cuz this just happened out of know where i tryed hitting the starter and still nothing,

ill take a better look at it this week end but i just wanted to get sum ideas of different things to check

does the radio and stuff not work or it just doesnt crank? you should check the safety switch on the clutch pedal sometimes the plastic on the pedal thats supposed to press it brakes

k i had sum time today so i pulled out the starter, n while i was at work i took it apart cleaned it up a lil and tested it, it worked perfect so i know the starter works, i just got home so i put it in real quick and nothing,
this probably means its not getting power, my trusty multimeter ran out of battery so i cant really do much,

im gonna check all the grounds
could an ignition switch be the problem?? n how could i test it?

did you check the pedal switch? also check the big 12v wire to the starter is should always be at 12v when the batt. is connected. the smaller wire sould recieve 12v when you turn the key to the 'start' position. if you are not getting voltage at the small wire check your fuses and starter relay. ignition switch would be the last thing id check imo.
 
all i have is a test light cuz my multimeter is outa batteries but ima test the relay,
wich might be a good idea cuz i dont hear a clicking or anything
 
the battery died today from trying to start it so many times, so i got a new one, still nothing, i tryed the jumping the clutch pedal safety switch and still nothing, ima get batteries for my voltmeter today n start checking

get a screw driver and touch the power and the signal on the starter. see if it turns. if it does then is the signal. if it dosnt then is either one the power or the signal.

ill put my money on the ignition switch, hapend on an s13 i had. or the lil blue relay box by the battery, without it the car will act just like in your description. try to change it with someone.

i was testing the signal wire and it had power, so i plugged it right in and it started up,
i turned it on n off a couple of times n its started perfectly
