i recently changed out some front end parts. sway bar + end links, tension rods.
that was all fine and dandy, but after tightening everything up, the car makes a noise when braking, and when letting off brakes (if car is still moving).
its like the weight of the car is shifting forward when braking, and then shifting back when i continue off the brakes. i can hear it and feel it slightly as well.
i know there was a thread on this a little while ago, about noise fromt he rear and the answer was changing subframe bushings. but this problem is coming from the front, and i think the problem is that i tightenned the bolts to the endlinks + bushings too tight. i tightened it until the bushings started to show a little cracking. is this too tight, preventing the bushing to do its job? should i torque it to a certain ft/lbs?
