not sure what motor you have but my vac line runs to my intake mani. that may be why its not working properly. o and are you reving while moving or just in netural?

they are flaming my ass on sfl240 for this lol i have a red top sr ive never had to deal with vaccums so i dont know how that works. Im reving in neutral

find out where that vac line goes ( mostly somewhere near the intake mani ) and usually if your revving in netural its not making enough boost to go off. but i could be wrong. if you had a rotary i could tell you excatly what to do.

Noah is correct. The vacuum line for the blow off valve should plug into one of the outlets on the intake manifold. Do you remember where you took the stock on off of? Also, if you hold the motor at 4 grand it wont blow off anyways, you need to just hit the gas and let off. mmm what else. Does the BOV have an adjustment screw? It might be super tight and the spring isn't letting it blow off, try loosening it all the way and seeing if it blows off.

First make sure the lines are connected right.

well if u didnt connect the vac line thats why its not blowing off. cuz the blow off valve works using the vac when you let off the throttle and boost drops

yeah i got an rs bov too and you can only really hear it when its under a massive load to release, its still working though!

have someone rev the car for ya, and stick your hand in front of the vent section on the b.o.v you will see its still relases air even though you dont hear it. aslong as it opening and doing its job thats good! hearing a jdm bird call from it, when it opens is only a plus- its all about no compressor surge!

the car needs a load in order for it to build boost. If the tension on the valve is set to a high psi then it won't open. Vacumn line is another place to look as well.

yuh ima do all that tomorrow then connect the vac i made my boi hold his hand in front of it he said he felt a lil air but well see

it wont blow off w/o the vac line hooked up. and after you hook up the line, drive the car, it wont blow off in neutral.
