How far do you want to go with drifting? Yes you can start with an auto E46, but you would be better off buying yourself a 1999 328is and putting the money you made from selling the E46 into some mods. Oh and make sure its a 5spd

I'm putting about 350hp at the wheels with $3,000 in HP mods (100% stock 328 engine, just boosted).

You will need about $250 in bushings to make the car more controllable unless your car has less than 60,000miles. Decent suspension can be had for $700, but I would recommend something adjustable. Most important is to make the car understeer less so you don't have to overdrive. aka put a big rear sway bar

+1 to all of this E36 FTW

My next car for sure. Mine will have to have some american muscle pushing it though, on another note I have access to a 99 528 that has no title runs smooth completely clean car but its auto and the title thing. I think we are going to slide it a bit, I think it might be my lsJuan candidate, its kinda big though?

You serious??? You don't know almost all BMW's are FWD? You have to convert them to RWD. Almost anything after 1972.

hey smarty pants, heres your fwd bmw
