Ok guys I got a 03 e46 325i and was wondering if you think I could drift with it as yes I know its expensive to fix but you think I could let out some smoke and would be good for drifting? Thanks
insted of asking..jus go out and do it!
Bmw's drifting haha never happen
j/k go for it dude, the E46 is a great chassis, all you need is a LSD (kinda pricey for your car) and decent suspension (also $$$) but look at it this way dude. Modifications on a E46 are really expensive buttt you need less of them since the cars are damn good as they arm. My car actually has very few mods relatively compared to most of the S13/S14's out at events. Pretty much all I have is coil overs and swaybars suspension wise and a great LSD ( well there is the motor swap too but im not gonna talk about that)
you can drift it. is it M/T?
if so go out there and stop being a VAGINA! :bigthumbu
Yup :laugh:BMW's are RWD?
lol I wish its A/T

mmm the A/T poses a problem
Yeah I honestly got tired driving manual and getting stuck on the palmeto every morning :chair: but then relize what a bmw's are ment for manual but w.e. I'm gona give it a try I'm sure it will be a decent drift car...
How far do you want to go with drifting? Yes you can start with an auto E46, but you would be better off buying yourself a 1999 328is and putting the money you made from selling the E46 into some mods. Oh and make sure its a 5spd
I'm putting about 350hp at the wheels with $3,000 in HP mods (100% stock 328 engine, just boosted).
You will need about $250 in bushings to make the car more controllable unless your car has less than 60,000miles. Decent suspension can be had for $700, but I would recommend something adjustable. Most important is to make the car understeer less so you don't have to overdrive. aka put a big rear sway bar
no they are all fwd. u have to do a s2k rwd conversion..
