Bmw Vs Nissan

I'm sorry, I have to agree with Bladder. Idrive is complicated and most of the owners of the cars dont know how to use it to the fullest extent. To sort out something in the car you need about a minute of playing around.... and one minute of NOT paying attention to what's outside the road is pretty bad.

tho they called the M35/45 'the most technologically advanced sport sedan' or some shit.

Pfft, no? That belongs to the Mercedes S class... always has and still does to this day.

Any company will say their car is the best, doesnt mean it is tho... it's called advertising.

I heard around 50k, but it will have 400hp.

I love it how you say "heard". I highly doubt that it will cost $50k.

Hey chillout Erick I was just trying to help ya out, since you have no clue on pricing. Yeah it's supposed to be around 50k maybe 60k at most, since they will almost match the price in Japan. Same as the Z33 aka FairladyZ aka 350Z, in Japan the Z is 3.5mil yen. In America the Z is around 35k, almost same the price as yen converted to American money. Dude stop being an asshole already. BMW hands down better then Nissan, plus you pull alot more pussy in a beemer then you will ever pull in a Nissan. At the end thats what its all about. You guys need to ALL shut the fuck up already. What is the whole point of this thread anyway??? Beemer kills any Nissan period. Skyline and bmw do not compete in the same class so why throw them in it.

A better question is... what would you drive and why???? Most people on this site have no clue what R&D is, so lets not argue with them. I personally have the BMI where the stock GT-R killed an M3. I also have one where the same GT-R killed a ferrari 360 modena (2700pounds and 350hp). This whole thread is just dumb. Stock form BMW whoops a skyline in numbers. In stock form a GT-R only has 280hp, but thats cause of the power restriction set up in japan. With the stock turbos 400hp is as easy as turning up the boost. BMW is considerd to be the beanch mark for all other car's, so at the end it's all about what you like. Now please STFU already. EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yupp, that is why i said 'they called it', and didnt say 'it is'.

i heard the NEW GTR is no where near the M3. it will have solid axles front and rear with a hi/lo 4WD tranfercase and a pushrod V8. it will have the same brakes that come on the sentra base model. i heard that they really really need to dumb the car down for the United states. But then again nissan never put any real technology into that POS anyway.

I have always said this and still say it....After Ghosn took over, Nissan is the NEW GM and its pissing me off, hes too worried about making fucking money that reliblity has gone down....right now Toyota over EVERYTHING!!!! Yea im alittle biased becuase I work for them but damn there cars are soo damn relible and the lexus line is soo damn nice!!! They just need to work on there motor mounts and door handles!

Sidenote... kinda adds to what Anthony was saying. Friend of mine bought an '03 G35..... great car. I jumped on the back seat and guess what? The whole padding from the door panel was falling off already.

Wtf? -1 for quality.

you shouldnt have been 'jumping' on the seat...lol

those back seats are amazingly spacious for the car only being 4 inches longer than the Z

.... I dont know how "sitting" in the backseat has anything to do with the padding on the door panel peeling off.

I havent herd or seen any problems with the G35, the G35 is ALOT better then the 350Z.
90s Nissan was where its at I mean a 1990 300ZX twin turbo with 300hp and a R32 skyline was WAY ahead of it time then mitsubishi toyota and mazda then followed, (SHUT UP BLADDER), shit as much as people talk crap about S13s IMO there VERY nice for its time.Nissan dominated in early 90s IMSA racing with the S13 Z32 and R92CP, and even know alot of people are using S13s/S14s in SCCA racing and kicking ass till this day.

I just hope the new GTR is will have everything a car should, the more i read about it the more i think its going to sell ALOT cuase of how much hype there is about skylines along with all the people that are making it.

Toyota has made such a big name for them selves that they can make the UGLY Yaris, Scion Xa, Xb and sell the crap out of them. Toyota right no is in all out economy mode then motorsports mode, but according to the bladdermaster they are going to race the new IS so that will be interesting.

(this is a quote from floridacarclub.com)Well he traded it in because it had been in the shop for about four times as much time as we had behind the wheel in the past month or so. It one time threw fifteen codes at once, Wes has a picture of them all on his phone.

So bye-bye to M5, hello to CLS 55 for now. The RS4 is coming in November or so, it's gonna be sweet.

Of course thats bound to happen. I'm sure there have been Infiniti vehicles that have gone through the same amount of problems. Not every car is going to be as reliable as the manufacturer intended. Thats why theres Lemon laws that help the consumer with problematic vehicles.

bladder i guess you don't know too many people with BMW's the are very well known for having electronic problems.

I do know they have electrical issues. Most German vehicles do from what I've noticed. But while BMW's flaw is electrical, it can be argued that Infiniti's flaw is their build quality.

Maybe it doesn't apply to all of their vehicles, but I've heard the QX56 sucks. I'll probably need to do some research to backup my statement.

Initial Quality ratings for:
BMW Vehicles - http://www.jdpower.com/autos/bmw
Infiniti Vehicles - http://www.jdpower.com/autos/infiniti

If you guys can remember, the first batch of Nissan vehicles after Ghosn's takeover had really crappy interior quality. I remember Nissan vehicles being often ridiculed for it. But little by little I've noticed Nissan improving their interior quality and design.

You can also visit the NHTSA website where you can view vehicle complaints from owners.
