Bmw E30 Specialits

ok so tell me if its a 325e should i get it or not??? it says 325i so im confused and it is a 86 and it is 5spd lmk thanks...:bigthumbu
 
hmmm im glad you made this thread, me and my uncle have been looking around for E30s, looking to pick one up. oh and dude...didnt you just get the sil front on this S13? man ur hardcore with the changing of cars! lol

this isnt me. well its me, but im a new member. the kid who had this account sold this one to me for $35.. he said he was a great seller/buyer and well known for his generosity. oh and he said he got major ass on this website from all the girlies.. It's the economy model. The motor is a torque monster, but only puts out 120 crank hp (when new). It's a 2.7l I-6 too. The motor revs to 4500rpm because the head design is just that shitty. It's meant for economy and not performance, so trying to have fun with it is pointless really.

damn now im worried LOL :( theres a beemer at my dads shop but its a 4 door theres no wheels and it was used as a whore house for a few months so its in pretty banged up shape im gonna check what motor it has though and im gonna check the car im lookin at tommarow i hope its not a 325e :(
 
I mean, this is just my opinion. On the e30 forums you seem to have a bunch of people that I swear are mentally retarded and in serious denial for liking their 325e's. Or maybe I'm just crazy.
 
how hard is it to swap a 325i engine into a 325e and what outher swaps are good, i wanna boost it so this info would be good to know
 
Its a bolt on really, you need the harness and all that stuff tho. You can swap the twin cams, which will probably run you anywhere from 800-2000 for a 2.5l... good thing you can use the stock tranny for those.

Um.... you have the newer M3 motors that also work fine, but that's more money.

And there's ppl who sell the motor mounts for SR swaps in e30s.
 
how do you route the piping for the sr and all that ... is it really worth it??

o and about the engine swap do you have to do any wiring modification or its just plug and play??? do the newer M3 motors just drop in?? damn i feel like a damn noob again LOL sorry for all the questions
 
woooooooeeeeee lol i did a hell of a search on google and i tell ya that sr swap seems a bit complicated wiring wise for me plus id have to learn to make mounts

i think for all that work id prefer to do a 1jz or 2jz or just another bmw swap
