bmpc manifold and intercooler

I had the BMPC top mount for the sr20det with the t3/t4 flange and i used it for about 4 months and one day i m driving down the block when i hear a thump and my exuasth sound changes. i pulled over and see that my wastegate is hanging by its vac line!!! i pull the manifold thinking the weld cracked and i was wrong. The whole peice of metal broke right off from how thin it was, the flang for the waste gate was still welded on to the metal that broke off. the manifold would glow hot red after one hard pull also.

Im still runing there intercooler however and i must say its a pretty good peice i had to make custom mounts and use piping from an old greddy i had but the intercooler has yet to give me any probs.

i am in no way trying to bash the parts or the company, i like bmpc and still do bizness with them i am just writing a review on the parts that i have used my slef.
 
My boy Logan in California works with a company called ASPEC. They are one of the most reputable shops in Cali right now. They have their logo stamped/etched/engraved/ect on a few products that they sell. Logan isnt afraid to admit where they came from. Sure they are decent for the money, but The only thing you will see with ASPEC on their time attack EVO is the doors. You pay for quality parts, they wouldnt risk running chinese market in serious competition.

AeroK - I understand where you come from and know that you are just trying to please your sponsor. The manis you posted look awfully alot like every low priced mani on the market. Search internets for horror stories of these manis cracking under stock boost and users finding their turbo parts hanging my only lines. Remember bro, ANYONE that is willing to pay extra can get their name stamped on any product that comes out of that china based warehouse.

I have a china mani on my car right now. It is rusting on the welds.....and I havent even ran the car yet. I might keep it down till my Tomei Expreme gets here.
 
hey- i had the same manifold on my ka-t setup and it did the samething!!!huh? i can only wonder!!!!
