blacking out lights

What technic is used for this effect i want to black out all three panels on my hatch if some one cold explain and have pix it would be much thnx

As long as you can see the brake lights and blinkers fine without a doubt its fine. My car comes with them blacked out stock.
 
yeah thats what i was thinking tinted to a certain extent cuz i see some people darken that shyt like crazy and you cant hardly see the lights on
 
i bought mine from origin and ive been pulled over many times, way too dark and way too expensive, finns answer looked pretty good
 
fuck pantyhose fuck buying new lights. Take clear coat mix in some black paint and sand then spray your lights. Might take you a few times to perfect it but its easy.
 
got some VHT Nite Shades from speed and truck world, use like 3 cans the nsome clear coat. shit was dark as fuck, so i got some led bulbs from ebizzle, looked good. ive been pulled over like 10 times in my car, no complaints about the tails.
