Best wheel cleaner?

My front rims have some brake dust thats so caked on I cant remove it unless I took something to like chizel it off ha. I dont want to risk scratching the wheels nahhh mean. Ive heard degreasers arent good on the wheel coatings, is this true?

Any cleaners or techniques you guys can recommend that I should try/use to get my rims spotless again?

ive got metallic silver rgII's

maybe pressure washing them ?
