You guys might smack me for this but I want to know whats the best way to go
Headers?
Exhaust? (2.5-3")
Head work?
Pistons?

Anything else to make a somewhat good KA without going turbo.

Haha yeah I just looked at that and found his thread on Nico i think i was looking for more of a basic type setup like exhaust/intake/headers/maybe mild cams? I know i said head work and pistons but im realizing now that i definitely do not have the money for that.

Thing is I'm not sure whats good and whats not headers wise like what company makes a good header for the ka.

Why exactly would it be a waste of money? I'd have to save for a long time for an sr or to put together a turbo kit. Im not trying to make the car fast i just want to give it a little more spunk.

i/h/e aint gonna give you much dude. and pistons and head work? for that kinda money u can slap together a simple turbo kit and call it a day.

Stock KA with a 250 shot of nitrous will work wonders.

that's the ticket.

INjen intake Hotshot headers IF YOU CAN FIND THEM if not DC sports or OBS, exhaust w/e the fuck you want anything will work. personaly im still witht he n/a ka love but right now im focused more on my coupe.

Since im good friends with a machine shop i can get alot done for cheap. but now im leaning towards leaving it mostly stock as i have it now. I really really really want a IS300 white manual.

basically my street set-up is k and n drop in filter with stock air box but i cut out one whole side of the inlet part of the box, and my injen intake pipe attached to it, electric fans and removed all of the emissions, i still have stock exhaust, i hate cars with loud exhausts and are slow as balls, and i ran a 15.3 with this set-up considering stock S13s i think ran a 16.1? but im happy with it for now, i just hated the stupid belt driven fan noise.

Ive got DC sports header ill sell to you for 50 bucks plus your stock header. And if you have an S14 ill do the same for your stock exhaust plus 50 cash

as for setups, ill be doing an intake header and 2.5piping, electic fans and aluminum crank pully, on top of a decent suspension

im not lookin to make big power, just something basic,

Intake / Exhaust / header / underdrive pulleys / SOHC pistons / pulstar spark plugs (dont laugh these fucking work)

thats should wake it up a bit and be plenty of fun

IMO building an N/A KA is a waste of time and some money. If I had some extra $$$ I would buy some cams and some SOHC pistons but sooner or later if you want real power your going to have to go turbo. Don't buy useless parts like CAI and small diameter exhausts because when you eventually do go turbo you'll regret doing all that crap.

Cold air Intake, header, 3" exhuast, pulleys, e fans, highflow cat or test pipe, remove emissions, good plugs and good wires. Id also recomend freshing up the motor alittle bit with new gaskets and such. run a good oil like royal purple. You sould be golden :bigthumbu
