Best Drift Car Coupe or Hatch S13..

First off, this thread is gay. They are the same freakin car. When I say hatches are better, its because I think coupes are ugly (silvia or 180 front end, they are UGLY). In other words, don't take it seriously.

LSD's were an option in all SE model hatchbacks, not just Super Hicas models.

Coupes are stiffer and lighter but the differences are neglidgeable. I've owned both, I'm not just repeating fan-boy interw3b BS.
 
Right Right.. it all depends on the driver.

Of course everyone has different taste for the FB's or the Coupe's Looks, I already have 1 coupe i'm looking for another s13 4 drifting only and i'm trying to see whichone hatch or the Coupe for better drifting.

I think i will get the Hatch/FB , I already have the coupe so let see if i can find 1 hatch back.
 
92 base model coupe is the best car by far. now that mine got toataled by some black lady i got stuck with a 600 dollar ****hatch. boo.. boo. oh and its also a base model just a ****hatch.peace
 
OK I know a friend that is selling his 89 Hatchback, I think it has over 200,000 miles on it, there is some cracks on the dashboard interior i think 50%, it comes with the sunroof and also the car don't runs.

I think the Head is blow, the exterior looks pretty good, No Rust and No body damages dings, scratches or any hits on the body, is a Hatchback 1989 S13 over 200,000miles, automatic tranny, No power windows is basically Manual Windows, and my friend told me i can take his car for $350bucks, what you guys think TOOO Much OR Still good price.

The engine has problems don't start, Probably needs a new Head Job, anyways I thinking to buy a Drift Car S13 so don't know if still a good Price $350 bucks complete car no Body Parts Missing only the 89 Engine is Screw anyways i think that engine must go it has over 200,000 miles.

I can may be put a SR20det engine but that car has the automatic tranny can I still put the SR20det with their 5 speed tranny. will it fit on the tranny mounts or it needs any modifications to be done.

What you guys think $350 bucks should do it for the complete car 89 hatch.

www.240sxforums.com RESEARCH, if it has no rust get it for like 250-300 and drop in sohc or dohc why dont you just slide ur Chrysler 88 2.6liter turbo engine 4cylinder, rear wheel drive 5 speed, stock 180hp w/ 250lbs. torque?

Just own both HB & COUPE so you can switch from one to another when u tired of one.I personaly like the coupe.but it all depends on the driver like other members said.I'm selling my 92 s13 coupe if anyone interested in checking it out IM me and I will send u pics and info about the car.I'm looking to buy a 93 Supra.probably this month.so this coupe has to go soon out of my driveway........

Nice you are going to buy the MK IV i think it is for the 93 is that right, or is it MK III/Tres.

Yeah I was thinking to do that but is a little hard to find spare parts for my chrysler 2.6liter turbo Conquest, specially that isn't cheap to repair their parts like the steering box, tranny, Crankshaft,LSD, and few more parts.. besides the car is alittle heavy like almost 4000 lbs.
i mean it took like 5 guys to push my friends conquest same car to the tow dolly. It is Heavy for example the S13 2 doors it weights like 1 door for my Chrysler Conquest.

I see few folks drift their Chrysler or Dodge Conquest real good but of course they have spare parts to replace if something goes wrong.

Thats why i changed my plans and i decide to build that car for autocross, street driving. I'm building my conquest engine and may be i go .20 over if not i will have to hit .30 over since i have a bad scratch on my 2nd cylinder wall, i will get some wiseco pistons 7:1 compression ratio and hit it with 20psi of boost using Stock Crankshaft and the Stock LSD of course i have to upgrade the stock turbo with T60-1 Hi Fi. I'm buying a brand new head 2nd gen from Australia Mitsubishi Motors, since here USA FL Mitsubishi Motors they don't carry that Magna Head 2nd gen I had to place an order from Australia to get it down here.
You know what that means more $$$ but is worth every penny very strong head.

I will do the MPI/Multiport Conversion system(the 4 fuel injectors) since my conquest is Stock TBI 2 fuel injectors only Primary and Secondary very easy fuel system but it has limits for make more power, thats why I'm going to do the MPI conversion may be i will get the Megasquirt Fuel Management system or the SDS 4E or the 4F, TEC III works real good but too expensive over $1900 just for their Fuel Management system.

Anyways I'm looking for my drift car S13 may be hatch but with less than $300 bucks may be my friends car $350 bucks sounds ok but i just saw that has a little rust on the Hatchlift underneath, is that Normal.

Well $350 bucks what you guys think should i go for it. paint is like 80% good. Where Should I check for Rust or any damages on the car S13, i mean whats more Important for DRIFTING ONLY the Frame/Chassis of course but what else, Suspension I don't see any Hits on the Wheel Hub, the guy never drift this car besides is Automatic. I need tips and suggestions where Should I look for any damages on the S13 for Drifting only.
