Ok guys remember last season we got the event over in Nov. and how CTDrifting was suppoused to start hosting our own events. Well a history of the event is that we had teamed up with another group because they had insurance and they wanted to go in this together. (We are currently pending insurance) I had approved of this just trying to get an event put together for the track owners to see. Well me and my staff were the ones that met with the owners, planned the event and ran the event. The owner and myself had an understanding that we would be the ones holding events in this particular track. Well I was informed the other day that the dates that were ours for events were given to the other organization, also what came to my attention was that they have been in contact with the owners from the beginning trying to take our events and guess what everyone they were successful. The dates that were told to me were originally intended for us were given to them and theres alone. They have already posted this on a few sites and I am highly upset that they would do this considering that we had picked them up and partnered up with them after 2 failed events. Moral of the story be very careful who you try to run events with.

We are currently contacting other tracks and lots to expand and show these guys that backstabbing of this nature will not be tollerated.
 
bro, that is wack. I don't understand why they'd keep it for themselves if you two were being partners to begin with, unless its just plain gluttony, which is what it seems like to me. Have you tried reaching any one in that party to hear their side of the story? --I say do your own thing, but have even higher amibitions, so that in the end you'll have them wanting to team up with you again; and thats when you find an appropriate way to make them feel like crap -- but the key is to keep your priorities, because I don't think you'll be able to accomplish much with only vengeance to motivate your party.

Keep it tight, bro, I say take that experience as a lesson learned, and use what you've learned from this mishap to the fullest extent, man.

no its not based on vengeance our initial plan was what you stated. im going to move forward from this and start looking for better venues that will cater to our needs. aside from tracks we are also contacting lots for some infamous parking lot events (coughgymkhanacough) and are trying to be the first to host them up in the new england area.
 
Yea dude, divide and conquer. 20 bucks says your influence will reach New York and will make a big-a$$ gymkhana out of Times Square. :)
 
Damn Jones, that's f*cked up. Best of luck with your events. I'm sure that those who know about CTDrifting will stick true to you guys no matter what venue you choose.
