Bay Bottom Crawl, Florida's fastest autocross

Just something I came upon. I Don't know how many people autocross here but I hear this is one of the most fun and best ones here. Click on the links and it describes it. You got to have some serious skill to compete in it. The clostest thing this compares to is a tarmac event in the WRC. Going 110-130 in a 2 lane wide road has to be fun and scary.

yeah i go to watch this every year they have some crazy *** cars that compete here. I have always wanted to run there (as i used to live like 10 miles from the course) but money and mechanical constraints have always kept me from running.

This autoX is fouking insane! The event is 3 days, and costs around 120ish for the entire weekend. Cars from as far as Canada come to run this event. You can definately get sideways on the course (but I wouldnt recommend it) the left side of the road is a wee small lake, right side is a big ocean.

I guess you can say I am hosting the event, since my autoX club created this event :p If anyone is interested in coming down for it, im sure myself and LowRisks can house a few of you all for the weekend.

NO your houseing me man! im definatly comming this time and the drift slut is running

I did the Serpentine back in February (basically the bay bottom crawl backwards. You start at the finish line, and finish @ the start line) and it wasn't that bad as people made it out too be. Only one car went halfway off track over by the portion labeled "dip" on the above map.

Oh, and I don't think that lake is a wee small one. :p

depending on how many people wanna show up, I might get us a townhouse for the weekend. If everyone chips in, that would be an awsome weekend.
