+/- Battery Light

so im driving today and my battery light turns on.
i disconnected & connected the battery & the car still turns on fine. (battery light still stays on)
does this mean my battery isnt getting charge from the alternator & the battery can run out anytime? just want to make sure since i never had this prob before.

new alternator most likely...I just had a problem like that...it was due to the lower wiring harness...i just put a new alternator in and no problems...autozone sells for $105 or get a used one...

yea go to tires plus or some shop like that and they will test it for free

yea just replaced it with a new one and battery light is gone and alternator is fully charging
