bad mileage

edit*
i found the right wire and made sure that it was reading accuratly by testing both at the ecu and directly at the o2 plug, fully warmed up at idle it reads a whopping .04 volts and under 100% load (full throttle first gear) it made it all the way to .15 volts lol i think i have found A problem

it confirms that you are running rich. so that would suggest your 02 is operating correctly. what does it read at cold start up? this is the normal 0-1 volt 02 right? so question is why is your ecu running rich? hmmm. did you clean your maf like suggested? if you already have drive to the gas station low on gas and fill up with 87 octane with at least half a tank. if the fuel is under compressed(heated up) for its octane rating then it wont burn as cleanly and completely. other than that i dont know what to say.

haha this :bigthumbu

Did you adjust your driving habits?

yeah man i been driving it like abuelita, it rewards me with MAYBE an extra mile or 2 city, like i said before highway(usually 3k constant about 75mph) is wher i make the worst mileage, ive tried slowing down to 55 and 65 and it still eats like crazy, i can literally watch my gauge drop withing a few miles, its crazy as shit,
and yes the maf has been cleaned recently hhn, and i run marvel mystery oil in the fuel from time to time, my motor is pretty much clean enough on the inside to eat off of :bigthumbu

ima check it at cold startup in a little but i think it read the same at cold that it did fully warmed up, which is what led me to believe it was damaged/not working order, im trying to get another used one and compare its results to the one i have now before i spend 25-30 on a new o2

roch its ur 02! not only becuase u confirmed it, but because i was having same exact problems! gas used to be great then got bad! really bad!

i monitored my MPG and i was down to 13 under light load and less under heavy load....

changed it and i get 25-30 light and 18-22 heavy!

change ur o2!

The octane rating that you are using and fuel filter size will NOT play a roll here AT ALL. If your o2 is reading is varying, then it should be reading as it should, but i dont think that it is working properly. If you've cleaned the maf, then your only options are a vacuum leak, o2s or a bad cts...

ther are NO vacuum leaks, i have a gauge and it reads 21 at idle(7-750rpm) like always, ima change the cts and see what happens

yeah im really leaning towards getting a new one, 90% of my research leads to the damn o2 sensor lol, it cant hurt to change a 15yr old sensor anyways, thanks for ur input man :bigthumbu

i just changed the o2 and it now reads .4** cold and fully warmed up it reads .9** constant for a couple seconds then fluctuates, i took the car for a quick spin and it seems to pick up faster, ima take it for a drive later and see if it returns me with better mileage :bigthumbu

well i made a whopping 6mpg more!!!! 40 miles on 1.8 gallons woot woot!!
also my idle has improved drastically (duh makes sense now) it doesnt jump around and dive to like 300 and then come back up, its stays between 7 and 800rpm as the fsm calls for
