April 18th Drift sessions

Does anyone have like a drawing of the line that you're supposed to take? Is there 2 different lines, one for underpowered cars, and the rest?

I'm going to say yes and no. For the first half their is really only 1 correct line. Its just if your underpowered you just have to carry your momentum into the entry well.(If you can't do the whole sweeper hit a quick little switch back to make it to the next turn. It would be good practice for you). The second half with the switchback I have seen run 2 or 3 diff lines being taken. You could switchback early and go no where near the wall. Draw the transition out a little bit and get bout half way to the wall. Or my favorite, no lift transition and almost kiss the wall.

Hope this helps:bigthumbu

Lol.. yeah it helps. I dont think ill want to be getting close to the wall for my first time but good to now.. and yeah on one of those vids I saw someone did a quick switch back before the next turn.. ill probably be doing that since i know i wont have the skills to keep my momentum going for the turn.. Thanks

Fooh real? How much would be getting shirts for? haha.
But really, I've seen your shirts before so I'm down for a few if you're serious.

Basicly they sell for $20, and you'll get it for $10. *Discount applies only to one shirt. Thats pretty nice isn't it?

I think Tim has said this already somewhere in the thread, but when is the last day to preregister? The day before the event?
