Anyone live in Coral Gables???

Kendall is pretty close to the gables , you can try somewhere near there. Its not that bad you just gotta watch out for thieving bastards like anywhere else lol.
 
well didnt they just open a new shop by the collection? or are they partners? us1 is horrible beyond horrible, a million street lights, a million idiots on the road, ppl that stand in the intersection blocking the way for others, accidents are a usual, the area your talking about has some apts. around there dk for how much but if you drive around there you'll see some listings, but as everyone else said its going to be expensive it depends, just go and take a look, just have a ton of patience and be prepared for traffic especially after 3, nmb is not far from but that means he'll have drive south to work then north when he gets out again even worse traffic like nathalie suggested try hialeah, or kendall or doral

hah i work in the coral gables hospital ...dude its money..i used tow work at the benz dealer (near the collection). its hectic man...and you have to learn your way....by that i mean the streests are not in numerical order nor alphabetical order....they have old spanish and european names and thats it.... oh and there is miracle mile...which is where most of the big money baller stores are at..

if you want let me know when your coming down i am down to hang if i am not working..

its a very expensive place to live at and and the rules and cops are strict....cops love to play "hide and give a ticket" a lot down there cus they have many places that have blind corners...

i dont live in coral gables but i live about 20mins away? i work agains traffic so i never have a problem getting to and rom work but there are neighboring places that will have cheap rent and housing cus its not int he coral gables district ( you get taxed for having your own dristrict ;) )

and rules are strict again, i a cannot stress that enough...

and a garage...only if you get a house....

i dont even know what else to say about it...lol
 
sounds like an awesome job man, but as stated before, the gables is no place for a single guy to be living unless you have a BALLER ass job, like owning a company and shit. lookinto areas like weschester, sweetwater, kendall, doral, etc for rooms/apts for rent. you'll get a much better deal, and if your making good $ at the collection, you can then move up. but i know there is absolutly no way you could afford an apt in the gables right off the bat.

bro just because your job is at the collection DOES NOT MEAN U HAVE TO LIVE IN CORAL GABLES i lived right on the limits of da gables 40th and douglas (36ave) walking distance of the collection/merrick park. everything past douglas is maaadddddddd cheap like those places are trash lol but hey u can make any house/duplex/apt pretty on da inside i could careless bout da outside

I have lived in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Lake Worth, Orlando, and now Boca. I had a gf that went to UM at one pt so I spent a good deal of time in Coral Gables. There is no place I feared for my life more as a drive or a pedestrian than there.
 
move on to the getto hood. lol. go kendall is close to coral gables and more cheap..or..just move to the beach. u got like 25min driving.
 
dude I work on the border of the gables & miami there are a but load of places here buy my job that are reasonably priced & have space for cars
 
haha nice map. Thanks for the info guys. I went there today and checked it out. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, still waiting on word from people around here.
