Is a headgasket job on a 240 as hard as doing a head gasket change on cars that have timing belts not chains? bc ive been lookin into buyin a 240 cheap nd everyone seems to have 240s with blown head gaskets....some help would be appreciated

i'd say its about the same....

You just have to be a little more careful as the chain may also have marks on it that you have to get in line with the gears. I never build a KA but I just did a sentra motor this week and it did. If you have rebuilt any motor before, everything should go by easily.

yeah its alittle harder since the chain you need to have the slack on a certain side for it to be correct timming
