AND DNT FORGERT ABOUT THE WALKOUT-NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION AGAINST THE WAR THIZ FRIDAY!!!

The kid was being asked to leaved and refused to comply. At that point, he was being escorted out and resisted. At that point, he was being put under police custody and still resisted. At that point, he got tazed. He got what he deserved. Bravo!

i dont agree with them tazering him. he asked the guy not to taze him, and they didnt say a single thing. and as they said above, kerry said he would answer the questions...so why escort him out?

See this is the kind of shit Ive been warning people about. Freedom of speech is gone if the NWO doesn't like what you have to say they will silence you.

Yes but they also didnt inform him of why he was being taken into custody, the fifth amendment protects this right to know what you have been accused or charged with.

The kid did come off as an asshole to the cops if you watch his entire speech to Kerry.

Although the use of force was completely unnecessary, you can't act like an asshole and expect to get away clear.

Still doesn't excuse the fact that it was fucked up nonetheless.

I dont know exactly if he was ASKED to leave, from the video which i have seen a msision times since this happened amile from my house, they never asked him to "leave" i could be wrong, but ither way what is it he acctually do? He asked a question, kerry was still answering it while the guy was being arrested.

Now i dont know if the guy was acctually aressted or just taken into custody to leave the area?

I still dont know exactly what happened but form what i heard and saw in the video its bullshit.

He wasn't even stopping to allow questions to be answered, he was monopolizing the mic, and he was vulgar in his speech. It was inappropriate behavior and perfectly acceptable for an institution of higher education to not put up with it IMO. Bravo. You can chant what you want on the streets - on private property, you follow the rules.

That's when you're being arrested - it is perfectly acceptable to be put under custody and detained before being read your rights. :bigthumbu

You're right - saying "being asked" was a misnomer. He was being escorted out however in a perfectly civil manner before HE decided to fight back.

^ TonyMac, you honestly cannot say the taser was not uncalled for. The kid had 5 cops holding him down and you're telling me they cannot cuff the kid and escort him away without a taser?

Come on.

That's police brutality, no matter what the kid did.

No, he had one cuff on and they couldn't get the other b/c he continued to resist. I do think it was called for. As a matter of fact, that's the purpose of non-lethal weapons.

I agree with tonymac. He was warned that he would get tazed if he kept resisting and thats exactly what he did.

haha my buddy called me right after that shit happened he goes to uf, said he was laughing his ass off

Even the man himself Rush Limbaugh thought the tazing was uncalled for. I know I'm in the minority on this one and that's cool. Remember folks, opinions are like assholes, everybody has one. :waveynaug

there will also be quite a hefty lawsuit going on

i'm on the phone with my friend and he said all around the campus today people were rallying everyone was wearing shirts and holding signs saying "DONT TAZE ME BRO" hahahaha.

he said its a shit storm over there and all officers are suspended without pay who ejected the kid.

IMO the cops deserved it. I don't think the kid's behavior was that out of hand that was worthy of that abuse. Could the kid have approached the mic better? Sure. But the cops had no right to do that to the kid. He was defenseless as it is.

Use a non-lethal weapon if the kid can actually hurt someone, not when they are being held down by 5 cops.

College kids get worked up over anything they can. They're all fags. Around FAU its crying about the vending machine money. :ugh:

The kid deserved it. If he would have never struggled from the begining there would not have been a problem. He resisted. He got Zapped. He submited.

What I don't understand is how can they compare this to Virginia Tech?

Maybe im missing something but arent you suppose to be read your rights before youre arrested?

They have to have the person restrained first. They aren't going to walk up and recite their rights then try to cuff him. They tried to restrain him he resisted they had to get him under control then read him his rights.
