well i have a motorola, rockr phone,,, i got from roomate,, he used to use it when he had nextel,, now he swtiched to diff provider i.e.verizon,,,, now when i tired using my sim card, from cingular, the phone became locked,, not security bullshit,, but phone locked,,, i know it can be unlocked by special procedure,, and i cannot do this hence i know that some1 working at cingular should be able to do thiss,, i need this ASAP,, since my cuuret phone is retarded,, the screen keeps giong blue,,, SO I NNEEEDD PPLEEASSEE

I used to work for Cingular/Sprint/Verizon and we didn't unlock phones, if you go to the swap shop or a little cell phone shop they probably do i, but they never taught us how to do that.

meansss, umm,, the phone deteced diff provider and locked the phone requiring a special code to unlock it , usually the provider can do it,, ,, cause i did it to my phone while back somehow,, but i called cingular and they gave me the code ,, now ,, difference, iss,, diff phone, diff provider,, cant call provider,, when i have no existing account,, its a pain

you said a moto rockr? you have to try the default code first which is "0000". if that dont work 411 a cingular or sprint store and ask for the number to motorola. when you get it give-em a call and they can help you.
