another sweet NOPI video

I've never seen Jeremy not smoking like crazy, that was odd.

I used some tires that sucked smoke wise, and in that last turn my car didn't have enough horse powers to ride out 3rd, so I had to bang rev limiter in 2nd and not make smoke. It kinda sucked, but hopefully I can get some more powers before the next event. My car has been soft for a while. I just try to drive it hard.

now i didnt drive it but i call BS!

haha I did the last turn in 3rd a couple times in practice and clutch kicked my life away. All it did was bog. I even waited until I banged rev limiter in 2nd, then slammed 3rd and it still bogged.
I'm not sure how much power my car makes, but if you watch the incar I posted in the other thread, I'm floored and shifting at 7k+ aproaching the 1st turn. I had no wheelspin issues in any gear, and supposedly horrible entry speeds. Sometimes my car feels fast and sometimes it doesn't. I just need to change a few things and get it tuned and a little more dialed in.

You should put that thing on a dyno and stop with the street/track tuning. Seems like your always tinkering with it, but it looked awesome when you went by that wall and the banner did the waver behind you.

your entry speed was fine man. you had earlier entry (which means LESS acceleration path = lower 'entry speed') but the velocity you had IN the turn was just as fast as the faster guys and definitely above avg.

where did you shift back into 3rd? I'm pretty sure the best spot should have been right as you transitioned from the 90 back toward the 3rd clip (middle of the 2nd infield straight). If you tried to upshift on the bank, you would probably bog for sure. its very hard to upshift on the bank because as soon as the clutch is in, the car grips up so much that rpms drop like a madman on the trans. then you need lots of power to jump it back into power yea. how fast you shift the gear can make it easier/harder too of course.

eitherway, you did good, just a few minor things we need to work on for your tandems and youre going to destroy people.

Yeah I tried shifting in a couple different places. In the transition was a little too slow for 3rd, and on the bank definitely didn't work. Either way I was happy with my runs. I just needed to chill and keep doing what I was doing. Tandem practice is a must!
