ae86 takes forever to start, please help..lol

hey guys i got a 4age 16v twin cam in my corolla and for some reason its takeing forever to start. its will turn over and slowly make its way to start but wont stay running until i've sat there warming it up and keeping it on...what could be causing that and how do i fix it???? please someone help me cause im stuck, thanks in advances for everyone input.

Check the iacv on the intake that sounds like the issue cuz mines did the same until I cleaned it but if u can by another one or u can clean it or check ur vaccum lines n shhit n make sure none of them r cracked

i dont know toomuch about corollas an 4ag's but mabe its a universal problem..so it starts?, but only after turning it over a while..how long does it usually take until it actually turns on?, and are you just gassing it to keep it running?..just tryina get a clear view on what you're dealin with.

Check the water temp sensor, and varify that the cold start injector operates normally. Another thing that can cause rough starting is advanced ignition timing.

okay it takes about 3 to 5 turns from the starter to get it to start and once it starts i have to keep gassing it for about 45 secs. to make it run at idle wit out shuting off and about the iacv ill check that out.

dude...every time u tell me "i fixed the corolla and it starts/runs perfect now"

yet , now i see this thread..

mentirosa sucia!

I had the same problem on my aw11. It used to take a while to start like that.
