ae86 miss fire/hesatation????

i have a ae86 that ive been trying to get running right and its the 1.6 carb motor... i have a new cap,coil,plugs,wires,fuel filter, and i even swiched it to a electric fuel pump.. it still spits and sputters and its my first toyota needless to say ive never messed with a carb.. any one have any aideas please post... thanks..
 
get a motor wihtout a carb:bigthumbu

have you timed the car?

Have youy tuned the carb?
 
if its a stock carb it's probably about to die adjust the carb if that does'nt help go get a 32/36 weber and you'll be straight
 
seriously tho it sounds like the idle ckt in the carb has some kind of obstruction

I recommend rebuilding it

Steps

1- remove spark plugs
2-drop 1 M80 oin each cylinder
3-reinstall spark plugs
4- fire that son of a bitch up and watch the show!
No more misfire, no more hesistation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
