so, you all can thank the mars for posting this then me for going to next step. haha. I sent an intro email and here is a section of the reply email I got.

"We do allow drifting and gymkhana. We have a 11 acre solid paved area for such events. We would be more than happy to speak to you more about [events].... We understand that ALL racers need a place to race."

I'll keep you posted, I have also mentioned to them getting their track involved with FDS with Harri/Ter-Tech.

They seem up for it. I'm going to follow up when I get off work in 45 min and I'll update what I find out.

Lets try not to flood them in messages and calls just yet, but feel free to load up this post to show interest, it will be helpful in showing them the post in the future so they see there is a solid following.

Expect prices comparable to Moroso.

wow theres a section in the middile that looks baller for an event.

just got off phone, im going to go meet in person with them next week and discuss options and details.

it is very possible we will be able to go tandem and other stuff.

there is also a skid pad that is 2x the south florida fairgrounds one from what I understand.

I will have a full report in about a week, but these events, due to how they run events, will HAVE to be pre-register with a minimum driver count. We dont know how much yet, this is all part of next week.

I'm excited as sheit.

oh road course is #1 priority, he knows that too. oh yea i also know that the track won't be 'ready' till early january. but thats like 3 weeks so no biggie. I am thinking maybe late feb to try an event, so it doesnt conflict with FDSQ at GIR in first week of Feb.

how far is it? I havent even map quested it yet to check. as long as you chip in a little for gas I guess we can do it in the morning as long as its not too early. I'll bring the camera and get pics

91 miles from my house should be an easy drive. either day is fine as long as its not like 8 or 9 in the morning. We should do monday now I think about it since I work 2-6 on sunday I think so I wont be up late at work
