Well, a little info before the vid. I didn't get some of the better runs or some of the better runs for the FD(sorry man), he did well though(just put that sway bar back in :D ). I wish I got more tandem footage but I forgot to leave some blank space in the camera to record on :( . Besides that stuff I'm happy with the vid. I hope you enjoy. . .



PS I hope to see more people go there. It's a great place to learn proper technique(it forces you to learn :D ). From what I heard it has a limited time left before it's gone for good.

good video. we took my s14 out the other day for its inagural run. it really sucks that they are building police training grounds over the florida sports park (so says my mom)
 
haha damnit man you only got like 10 seconds of vid from my very first one:( ahhh i was praying my ebrake entries would be on there. we need to get more cameras and more batterys. are you coming down again this weekend?
 
I don't know, I do need some tires so i won't spin during tandems lol. Next time I go I'll have someone tape it from the tower(again) and use my camera mount somewhere on my car with another camera.

wtf why ?? lol noel is hell bent on the underpowered 4age all im saying is with a lil more power you guys can mantain a longer drift whoever u are fuck you lol
 
Well, I do plan on more power later on(4ag na power), until I feel my technique is ready I'll stay with my stock engine. Being underpowered forces you to rely purely on technique(making you a more complete driver). Just about everyone started off underpowered, you learn to tune you car(tire psi, shocks, alignment). I really had no problem keeping a drift there and considering it was my 2nd time ever there I felt good, sunburnt but good. I wish I got more of the FD's better runs and our tandems.

^^^ Yeah pretty much, quick and to the point(just add e-brake at times at that track).
 
i guess ive never driven a car that was that underpowered my ka's always had a lil sumthing (cams,headers,blah blah blah) but there were times were at the end of the drift u straightened out i was like fuk! so close but none the less awesome driving especially if it was only your second time

Not to worry I know what the solution is for that for the next time :bigthumbu . Most of the runs were ok to me, the 1st one at the start of the vid even surprised me a little when I 1st saw it :D .

I'm not hell bent on being underpowered. I am hell bent on being underpowered > underskilled. I don't need crazy amounts of power to drift. When my skills start to get better than the car I drive, I will upgrade what I believe is necessary. Right now I am just concentrating on suspension, brakes, and later on I will be adding more angle to the steering setup. See, those things are more important than power to me. When I am ready for more power, I will rebuild this engine or get a 20v. My hp goal would be about 170-180 whp. Not a lot of power, but like I have said, power is not an important issue to me. If I want a powerful car, I would get something with a turbo or a V8.
