well i have no a/c in my car...it blows but its just hot...i dont have an a/c compressor..nothing...what do i need to get to get it running cold...let me know guys!

also let me know prices and where to get them..thanks :D

First do you have the lines and a compressor? Sohc or Doch? Either or you need to get the compressor and appropriate lines. Then install add freon and bam A/C!!

lol i dont have crap...no compressor nor the lines...tell me what i need exactly and where to get them and how much lol

if you dont have crap then your looking at about 700 or soo dollars.. i was looking into replacing everything on my car too so i had everything new for the a/c... evaporator core, dryer, condensor, expansion valve, lines, compressor, and if you fill it with r12 then your looking at another 100 there too, cause someone with have to evacuate, vacum, then charge the a/c system. all in all if you have nothing, then your looking at a grand.

compressor then is about 350 ish for are reman one. and the lines you will have to have someone over there make it for you. it will be cheaper that way then buying them from the stealership. but you still need to get the the system evacted, vac, and then charged... and go with the r12... its more money, but it cools something like 30% better.

Dude, it is that easy, if you know what you are doing. I found on ebay a compressor and lines and evap all for dohc for 120 shipped. Installed drove to a mechanic and had them properly charge the system for 100. So i spent a total of 220 for a/c.

you get what you pay for.... i dont cheap out on some shit like that... or brakes... things like that it just makes no sense but hey what ever.

oh and trust me i know what im doing... when you are constantly recharging your a/c droping 100 dollars everytime just cause it needs a recharge is a joke. thats not proper, it has a leak and needs to be fixed. like i said do what you want, but the way i said, is the way to do it if you want it to last.

Everything worked perfect. Its just more of a reasonable price to some of us that just cant afford a 700 dollar a/c job.
