89 s13 gas leak

Hey I have an 89 s13 coupe and I have a gas leak in the rear end of the car in between the tires...any suggestions to what the problem may be and any solutions? thanks...
 
could be the fuel lines or the tank seal for the pump or the filler neck or you smashed your gas tank
 
thats where the tank is brah find out where the crack is and seal it up or just go to the junk yard and get a better one
 
Remember junk yard drill holes in them once they get it best bet ask if anyone parting out the s13 and buy it from them or get someone crazy to weld it for you
 
i brased my gas tank shits super dangerious theres a big chance of death just spend the money and get another tank

im kinda yes and no on this method i did try this on my friends tank problem was that the pressure relief valve wasnt working properly so the tank would build pressure causing it to expand and chipping off the JB weld or what have you. Now it would have worked i think if it wasnt for that pressure build up. Welding the tank would be the next obvious solution vs. getting a new tank but the risk of it exploding is the other pickle you run into

ive used the gas tank repair putty from discount on diesel and gas tanks and is still holding strong no leaks :bigthumbu
