5 lug conversion

haha, ok. These are things people have tried ages ago. The bearings don't swap, the id and od are both different. And no you can't use a z32 spindle on the front since z32's are double wishbone. Grab some FSM's to see for yourself.

ok ok I get it

ok, here's exactly what you need to do the conversion to your s13:

you need the z32 300zx NA (TT doesnt work) rear hub
you can use the entire spindle, which saves 8 lbs on either side, but then you need to use 300zx rear suspension (the bottom mount is different)
or you can use s14 5 lug rear hubs

up front you use s14 5 lug spindles and hub
in the front you have to use one of the following to options:
a) s14 lower control arms (i suggest) because it gives you more turning radius
b) the s14 lower control arm bushing

brakes can be either s14 rotors all around, which allows you to use s13 calipers (easier method and cheaper (tirerack.com has brembo rotors cheap)

or b. z32 rotors (if you use z32 rotors you have to use z32 calipers and brake lines due to z32 rotors being thicker) which means no ebrake unless you change that for the z32 one as well.

thats all you need... word of wisdom: if you use z32 rims (16x 7.5 front , TT 16x 8.5 rear) and have coilovers, you CANNOT run wider than a 205 55 16 in the front or else you will pop the tires on the coilovers. they rub. (and still you have to use 5mm spacers)

is it possible to use front and rear hubs from an s14 on an s13?

S14 Rear hubs yes. S14 Front hubs REQUIRE a S14 Spindle! And then since you have to use front S14 Spindle you HAVE TO use S14 FLCA Ball Joints.

you can use either s14 FLCA ball joints, or the entire S14 front LCA (which includes the ball joint

go the second route and get better steering angle

One can simply use z32 rear hubs without using the KNUCKLE - we have RWD cars so there's no spindle on the rear. Also, S14 FLCA's won't give you more turning radius/steering angle/whatever. They will give you more camber and clearance however.
