3in cutout on SR20?

hey a buddy of mine has a beautiful white S13 coupe with an SR20 in it.. he has stock exhaust, therefore nice and quiet.. how does this sound.. custom 3in downpipe, then right after the downpipe a 3in electronic cut-out? how loud would that be? annoying? can anyone give me an idea?

I don't know why people hate backfires so much, I love fire shooting out of my exhaust.
A friend of mine had a straight pipe for a while, the thing sounded like a boat, not to mention the smoke.

i belive Xero240 has OPEN headers ( he has like 1 feet of 3" pipe. OPEN.*
is loud but nice.....!!!!

hahah crazy.. that thing sounds like a beast! so you wouldnt recommend an electronic cut out? i mean i would only open it when i want to race someone for fun or who knows. but i bet for drifting it would be annoying and loud as fuck.. i guess ill go with a full 3in cat back lol.. maybe ill throw in a cutout for fun ;]
