2jz high idle problem

well 2jz swap complete. i can drive it around and when i do i dont even have to push the gas. idle is im guessing around 3000-4500. its pretty high. using q45 fuel pump on constant voltage. its always on. everything is firing right but its idling too high. the dizzy is right, its the steadiest idle where its at. everything is either blocked off or hooked up. i dont know what it could be. maybe bad iacv or tps? but the butterfly throttle plate is closed. throttle cable isnt getting stuck. any ideas?
update: when i drive car and gas it and then come to a stop at a light. the car idles lower but not where its supposed to and then just goes back up to where it was at. this is it in neutral. gunna try and clean the iacv tomorrow and see what happens. maybe its getting stuck from all the build up...

Iacv...should'nt be though. useally when idle is too low...dont know much about TPS. but worth looking into. google that shit son

well, ill check this tomorrow but i have a hose on the intake mani running to exhaust valve cover, and on the other valve cover i have the port open. ill block that off as air may be sucked up from there..

It was happening to my ka, reset tps and it should be fine. Pretty simple

1. Turn key to ignition

2. Disconnect sensor

3. Take out key

4. Wait ten seconds then reconnect sensor

That should be all if I recall right

well so far i found out there is no vacuum leak. i guess iacv or tps. ill do what you said but i think the iacv isnt right or something. maybe something different i have to wire up for it. it gets power though.

Damn alright but other then that the cars fine? And did you get a custom made harness or did you get a premade one?

its the stock 2j wiring harness. i just added switched power to ignition and a couple others. on my iacv plug, the two middle ones have power, but the 4 outside ones dont have ground nor power. maybe i need to go look into the wiring harness and see if its supposed to be grounded to the ecu or something. if it is then ill just add a wire in there near the ecu and ground it. also ben your diff is hand tightened. :)

why don't you remove intake piping and put your hand inside the throttle body and then your finger over the iacv hole... see if it dies or just goes down.

when i take intake and maf off it starts up and idles like crap for like 3 secs and then dies.

because the maf isnt getting a reading.. but basically on the iacv. the two middle wires have power and the 4 outside ones go to the ecu, i was just gunna ground them but im guessing they shouldnt be. they should be grounded by the ecu whenever it tells it to ground. maybe i have to ground the ecu with one of the ecu's main ground wire. i h8 wiring

hmm thats what i tried to do with my ka when i pulled it into the garage for the last time. shit didnt work that thing was made by god

Did you drain the oil first ?try that or dumping jb weld in there and let it sit for a bit

thanks ill do that right after i solve the idle problem. anybody know their shit about iacv? those 4 wires that dont have ground nor power when ign is on but motor isnt running. are those wires supposed to have constant ground or any power? or is it a regulated pulse?
