Jim Liaw came out to announce a global Formula Drift schedule with an official merger of the USA and Asia series. Bringing together team registration, media registration, and rulebook under one umbrella for 2014. In 2015 a Formula Drift World Championship series will come to play. A minimum of three continents will be included with the 2015 World Championship and Formula Drift says goal is to have final announcements by April 2014 for this World Championship.
