theres a connector for the lights and defroster but most people just cut the wire because its like an hour of taking interior pieces off to get to it

i was going to say...there is a conector... i dont think its that much of a pain. just have to take all of the pass side intieor just about out.

**sigh** i just checked right now and yes it does have rust under the spoiler. wow i keep on finding more little things that set me back. If some place would hire me then i wouldnt be so bothered by these constant set backs....

look at mine how bad. im fixing it tommorow morning with rust remover, grinding it down and bondo with some body patches and then sanding and painting.. ill take pics. if u like how i did it we could do it to you'rs. even though i have very little body work experience lol

the problem with bondo and any kind of fiber glass filler is that it will shrink over time and look like crap. especially if you donno what your doing with the mix. your best bet would be small peices of sheet metal and a light coat of bondo. itll come out alot better that way and last longer.

dude i have an 240sx se an i went to the junk yard, found a base model 240 with no wiper just the defroster an 3rd light no rust at all!! took it off got it cheap an put it on my car easy an everything works fine, an diddnt have to worry about putting the other 240 back together cuz it a junk yard who cares

just like dan said theres a connector for the lights and defroster an u just gotta take the passanger interior out, it takes awile cuz some stuff breaks if ur not carefull

a lil bit of cutting, splicing and sodering will get ur defroster, wiper and third brake light back to life. not a hard job at all...
