Second you for one do not know me so it would be in your best interest to not talk to me that way! Thank You! I have never said anything negative or been offensive to you ever so respect me in the same way. So i said what "I" figured what a 17X9 sportmax wheel with that offset would stick out past the fender.....if im wrong then im woring.. there is no need for your outburst over something so fuckin petty! I dont know if you had a bad day or whatever when u typed that but remember that were all not experts in wheels like you ok ...

17x9 +20 is pretty much a safe bet as far as coil over clearance goes. Whether anything higher in offset will clear your springs will depend on the coil over. If you run +15 up front with 9's i am pretty sure that you will be able to clear "tein" steering spacers when your steering angle is increased. wheel\tire clearing wheel wells and TC rod.

ppl say run 235 40 17 on 9's up front so do it. I do not for specific reasons.

well cause you posted like you were 100% sure that 17x9 wheels will not fit in the front, when its not true. on a tech thread try to post things that your 100% sure of, sorry for my outburst.

the good thing about 9 wide +25-15 is that you can run the stock fender without rubbing issues depending on tire size and height.

Well, personally ** :ugh: DISCLAIMER: This is my personal opinion for why a 9' wide wheel up front is desired by most 240SX owners :ugh: **. I think it's just for better fitment. For example, that 17x9 +20 FN01R-C looks killer in my opinion, not to mention it will clear stock fenders/suspension parts, but do you nessecarily need it for Auto-X/Drift/Whatever...Not really. So, personally I think it's just fitment. 9' wide wheels up front look better with no need for spacers.

225 wide keeps me on my toes.

e-30, preloading the front side wall enhances steering responce. plus if you want more grip in the rear you need to step it up in the front as well. so go wide, its an easy fit, hes not asking about 10. 9 is standard, functional.

Makes sense. Id run a 8 though just for the increased clearance and the wieght savings but hey. I dont own a s13. Thanks though it makes sense.

any rubbing at full lock on the frotn of the S13 at the tc rod location? cause i really think you can run 10 wide in the front of an S13. on stock fenders but the offset has to be PERFECT.

Im thinking 10 wide +13 in the front. now with my calculations you shouldnt have any rubbing issues and nither do I with 8 wide +38 offset....
