So a buddy got into an accident (curbed his car) definetly needs both drivers side lower control arms and one toe rod but we are debating if he needs to swap his subframe... Needs some more opinions. This is the only visible damage to the subframe...Does it justify changing the entire thing...

couple days after i put the original in i saw it was leaking a bit and i DID change the o rings on the bad one..all but the one that goes on the fuel rail itself i think. in total the kit came with 4 new pieces..i changed two o rings on the injector itself big and small and one that goes on top...

so car started sputtering when i turned it on one day...checked things out turns out it was injector on cylinder 3...(stockish KA) went to the junkyard got one and put it in ran fine.. exactly a week later im getting gas, turn the car on and the same symptoms.. when i pull out any other...

IMO this only works if your car is cool/rare....like an old datsun 240z, old bugs, rat rods etc..its like a rusted out camry or toyota echo...who cares? and having the engine bay/gas cap area painted kinda negates the rusted out part...if you have the time/money to paint the bay why not do the...

i say yay to the simpler tools but i wouldnt buy expensive or complicated parts. ive bought sockets that i use at work on a daily basis and havent had one break yet... and if you look in the new project car magazine they did a test with craftsman harbor freight and some real expensive torque...
