I know it's further for you, but whenever I went I would have everything loaded up beforehand. Then just hit the road after work, like 5-5:30. It's a little less than 3hrs from here. So it ain't over 4 for you.

I mean, the turn at pbir is really slow. Like, you can do it in 2nd gear if you wanted to, and like Sal said, you don't have to floor all the way to the turn if you don't want to. You can putt into it at 25mph if you want. It's also really beginner...
Also, I suggest that the day of the event, that Ben shuts down the forums. So people have to actually come to the track and drift in real life.

Yeah it sucks driving home from an event and thinking, "man, I didn't learn anything today". Feels like a waste of time/money. I mean no matter what drifting is fun, but when you drive home pumped on something you learned, it's 10x more fun.
Yeah man, you definitely have the right idea as far as a plan to keep learning and getting better. Keep doing your thing. It's easy to get stuck doing the same thing every time just because it works. You gotta keep pushing it. I struggle with that everytime I go to the track.
The tires ruined the event! The imaginary drivers that take an imaginary line and do imaginary sickkk runs scraping the wall every lap couldn't kill it because the tire wall would suck them in like a vacuum!!!
Seriously though, it sucks how it took so many people ruining...
