Shit maybe its a foot and a half then. Either way, the suggestion was terrible and should be avoided - there needs to be distance. When I first went top mount, i had all kinds of MAF issues b/c it was too close and created turbulence. It was about a foot then.

RB25 would be a severe downgrade from a vg30dett imo. RB26 might be worth it but then you have a higher COG and more weight over your front suspension. It would be a crime to put anything other than a v6 or v8 in that chassis if you're racing/drifting it.

That makes no sense and is not true at all. Most of us have a MAF on the intake and for that MAF to operate correctly, it needs to be at least 3 feet from the turbo. Uh yeah a venting BOV is unnecessary. It also makes the car run rich if you don't recirculate (which most people don't) but...

Superchargers do lag. The degree depends on the size/design of the blower and how much boost you're maxing out at, just like a turbo. Turbos unfortunately have a bad rep in the import world b/c of people putting large and mismatched turbos on 2ltr and smaller engines and generally running...
